This Grace: explosive mix of rock'n'roll and metal riffs, contaminated by synths and samplers



The current line-up of This Grace came up in 2005. After a few months the band recorded a self produced demo with four songs, that got aired by some local rock radio stations.

Pushed by this good start, This Grace began to play live shows in spring 2006, having gigs in some of the most famous rock clubs in the Milan area.

In summer 2007 This Grace started the recording sessions of "7 Faster Heartbeats", their first full lenght album. Eleven tracks that ranges from heavy sounds and riffs to stunning rock melodies. In november of the same year, before the fulfillment of the record, "No Joke" is included in the "Xmas In Orange 2007" compilation (a benefit cd for the orphanage of Gulu, in Uganda), that sold over 2000 copies. The band is also frequently included in the playlist of the radio program "Rock Wave", which is managed by Rock TV and aired every week on Radio Rai Due, a national radio station.

"7 Faster Heartbeats" was presented to the audience in april 2008.
In june of the same year This Grace is chosen among 2652 bands concurring to play on the first day of “Heineken Jammin’ Festival”, one of the most important rock festivals in Europe. In this day the band shares the stage with very important bands like Linkin park, Queens of the stone age and Sex Pistols.

La formazione attuale dei This Grace vede la luce nel 2005. Dopo pochi mesi la band realizza una demo contenente quattro brani che vengono trasmessi da alcune radio rock del nord Italia. Forti del buon riscontro di queste prime registrazioni i This Grace iniziano l'attività live nella primavera del 2006.

Il gruppo si ritrova a calcare i palchi di importanti locali rock quali Zoe Club (MI), Factory Aquatica(MI), Nautilus(VA), Heineken Jammin Club(VA), Circolone(MI), Dresscode (PI), Free Tribe Festival (NO) e Le Piccole Iene (NO), Nell'estate del 2007 i This Grace entrano in studio per la registrazione di "7 Faster Heartbeats" il loro primo full lenght album. Undici tracce che spaziano da sound aggressivi e potenti a melodie rock di grande impatto.

Nel novembre 2007, prima del completamento definitivo dell'album, "No Joke" viene richiesta ed inserita nella compilation a scopo benefico "Xmas In Orange 2007", che vende oltre 2000 copie.

La band ottiene inoltre frequenti passaggi nel programma radiofonico “Rock Wave”, in onda ogni settimana su Radio Rai Due e gestito dal canale satellitare Rock TV. "7 Faster Heartbeats" viene presentato nell'aprile del 2008.
A giugno dello stesso anno i This Grace vengono selezionati tra le 2652 band iscritte all’”Heineken Jammin’ Festival Contest” per suonare nella prima giornata dell’omonimo festival, che vede tra i protagonisti band del calibro di Linkin park, Queens of the stone age e Sex pistols, dimostrandosi all’altezza di calcare un palco di tale livello.
